It's located centrally in Garching along the street. This does not affect the ambiance or seating quality at the "Biergarten" outdoors. The service is efficient and friendly. Seating on the basic usual seating but not uncomfortable. The menu is mainly traditional with some modern influences. We went for traditional dishes and the taste was good, though not spectacular. Still to be recommended though. The place was quite full but parking was sufficient.

With my friends family had dinner there. Luckily we went there earlier otherwise it would be very full without any empty table for Monday evening even. We were very happy with the food. Very Bayern ;) Prost

Very Bavarian, menu short but decent, food is really well prepared. We were there twice, and the restaurant was pretty full each time, so it gets quite loud inside. I would recommend sitting outside if the weather allows. Waiters are very busy but still do their job very well. On the downside: more expensive than expected and no parking around. Still seems to be the best restaurant in town.

We visited Garchinger Augustiner on a Sunday night during an FC game, and it was a fun, lively experience overall. The game-night specials added to the atmosphere and made it a great place to watch football with friends. As expected, the Augustiner beer was excellent. Food was solid and satisfying, exactly what you want in a traditional Wirtshaus setting. Service was friendly and efficient despite the crowd, which we appreciated.

Found refuge here on a hot summer afternoon. It's not really a beer garden but they have a big outdoor area. Drinks were cold, Kaiserschmarrn was good. Big big portion of Schweinebraten, beware. Fine service. Have von Fass from 18 o'clock. Have lunch specials.

We had something to eat and drink in the beergarten on a friday afternoon when the weather was excellent. The experience here was an excellent example of why i like German beergartens. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. The food was very tasty, i had the currywurst xxl and they serve a great beer. If i ever get back to Garchingen i will definitely go here again.
